U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Ian Weber, an infantry unit leader with 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division, demonstrates how his team will complete their job during a Rehearsal of Concept (ROC) walk during an Air Assault Course August 16, 2021 at Camp Pendleton, California. ROC walks implement strategy and quick thinking before mission execution, which are part of the challenging and realistic training environment of the Air Assault Course. The course, hosted by I Marine Expeditionary Force Expeditionary Operations Group, helps produce combat-ready forces capable of successfully operating as part of crisis response units such as the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit.
