U.S. Marine Corps Master Sgt. Richard Zepeda, Marine Corps Cyber Auxiliary (MCCA) chief, Deputy Commandant for Information (DC I), mentors a member of the Young Marines during the third annual Young Marines Cyber Paths Summer Camps at the Quantico Cyber Hub, Triangle, Virginia, Aug. 5, 2021. DC I, in coordination with the Young Marines Organization, developed the Cyber Paths concept built upon three core components - cyber skills, education, and professional mentorship. The MCCA is a volunteer organization comprised of a small cadre of highly talented cyber experts who train, educate, advise, and mentor Marines to keep pace with constantly evolving cyber challenges and aimed at increasing Marine Corps cyberspace readiness.
