NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO (Aug. 17, 2021) Capt. Justin Long, commanding officer of Fleet Anti-Submarine Warfare Training Center, right, greets invited media to the Littoral Combat Ship Training Facility (LTF) for a scheduled tour. The LTF is the first surface warfare training facility to provide integrated bridge and combat systems tactical scenario training for Sailors serving aboard littoral combat ships. The LCS is a fast, agile, mission-focused platform designed to operate in near-shore environments, winning 21st-century coastal threats.
