Consul Amanda Pilz, U.S. Consulate Adana principal officer, and Col. Jason Gingrich, 39th Air Base Wing commander, speak with Airmen assigned to the 39th Medical Group to learn about how this group collaborates with several off-base hospitals to provide around-the-clock care to base members at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, Aug. 24, 2021. This was Consul Pilz’s first visit to Incirlik AB, during which she experienced firsthand how the base’s diverse units work together to defend NATO’s southern flank and promote stability in the region. The 39th ABW is committed to continued collaboration with the Turkish Air Force to provide for the health and safety of all Incirlik AB members and the stability of the region as a whole.
