Staff Sgt. Brianna Dedeaux, Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations mental health technician, led a painting session to help with relaxation and mindfulness at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, Aug. 17, 2021. “The goal of mental health resiliency is generally to teach and discuss, but the goal for this session was to take a step back and just be able to engage with one another in a not-so-structured way,” Dedeaux said. “Sometimes allowing oneself to take a moment to have a breather, we can be more mindful of what it is we are doing, thinking, seeing, smelling, and/or hearing. Art is a great way to practice mindfulness.” (U.S. Air Force photo by Jason Minto)
