210818-N-RP125-1001 DILI, Timor-Leste (August 18, 2021) Builder 3rd Class Benjamin Weinreich, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, secures a stud to formwork with a nail gun for the four-room schoolhouse in Baucau, Timor-Leste. The U.S. Navy Seabees with NMCB-5 are constructing the schoolhouse in support of the local Ministry of Education. NMCB-5 is deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations, supporting a free and open Indo-Pacific, strengthening a network of allies and partners, and providing general engineering and civil support to joint operational forces.
