(June 21, 2021) - Personnel assigned to Navy Expeditionary Medical Facility - M assess a simulated patient prior to transport during a training evolution at Naval Expeditionary Medical Training Institute at Camp Pendleton, California. EMF-M’s core staff participated in this expeditionary medical training, which is a vital element in the unit’s pre-deployment training continuum. EMF - M earned Tier 1 readiness capability certification, with the ability to deploy and provide combat operations medical support to U.S. Fleet Forces.
