CARIBBEAN SEA - (Aug. 24, 2021) -- Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) 1st Class Natalia Fraser, assigned to the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24), escorts French navy Frigate Capt. Chun Jen Fang, commandant of the Floréal-class frigate FS Germinal (F735), and French navy Lt. Clément D’Avout d’Auerstaedt, into Arlington, Aug. 24, 2021. Fang’s visit enabled leadership to exchange best practices as they work together toward the common goal of supporting the humanitarian relief efforts in Haiti. Arlington is deployed to U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet to support humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR) efforts in Haiti following a 7.2-magnitude earthquake Aug. 14, 2021.
