Edward Pidgeon, U.S. Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka's (FLCY) commanding officer, Timothy Adkins, FLCY's executive director, Julie Herring, Navy Exchange Yokosuka's general manager, and Capt. Rich Jarrett, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), cut a gold ribbon signifying the opening of FLCY's new Navy Exchange micro mart during a ceremony onboard CFAY. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
