The Romanian Air Force awarded seven Royal Air Force personnel, assigned to the 121 Expeditionary Air Wing, the RoAF Emblems of Honour on August 26, 2021 at MK Air Base for their outstanding contribution to the eAP mission delivered on Op BILOXI 2021. The 121 EAW have engaged in numerous joint training exercises with the host nation, as well as the rotating U.S. Army units. The event served as a reminder and commemoration of the devout communication and support the NATO Allies have for each other as they work to increase peace and security across Europe.
Cpl. Motriuc was one of the recipients of the award Thursday. “I am humbled by the recognition given to me and my colleagues. It has been a fantastic experience and an absolute pleasure working at MKAB and this is all due to all the personnel we got to work with. For me, it's all about the teamwork and the support offered to each other whenever needed that really draws everyone together.”
