Maj. Gen. Milford H. Beagle Jr., 10th Mountain Division (LI) and Fort Drum commander, attended the morning session of the spiritual readiness pilot at Main Post Chapel on Aug. 26 to introduce Maj. Gen. Thomas Solhjem, U.S. Army chief of chaplains. Solhjem surprised the commanding general by presenting him with the Order of Aaron and Hur, a prestigious Chaplain Corps award, and thanked the commanding general for a lifetime of committed service and his support to the Chaplain Corps.
