Staff Sergeant Anthony Luevano with 1st Squad, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, writes down his fire plan during the Joint Fires Observer Course at the Hohenfels Training Area, Germany, Aug. 30, 2021. The Joint Fires Observer Course is designed to provide select personnel with training on the procedures required to provide timely and accurate targeting information to a qualified Joint Terminal Attack Controller for Type 2 and 3 Close Air Support Terminal Attack Controls, and perfom autonomous Terminal Guidance Operations.
