U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Nicholas Andriaccio, a fire direction controller with 2d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2d Marine Division, poses for a photo on Camp Lejeune, N.C., September 2, 2021. “Leadership is an action, not a position,” said the Buffalo, N.Y., native. Andriaccio’s leadership nominated him for Motivator of the Week for his dedication and devotion to go above the call of duty. This was recently proven when he saved another Marine’s life. His swift action led to the Marine making a full recovery.
