PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 13, 2021) U.S. Marine Corps 1st Sgt. Diego Chavez, battery first sergeant with Bravo Battery, Battalion Landing Team 1/1, 11th Marine Corps Expeditionary Unit (MEU), leads the Marine formation during a memorial service honoring Chief Electrician’s Mate Stuart Hedley aboard amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), Aug. 13. Hedley served in the U.S. Navy for over twenty years and survived attack at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, Dec. 7, 1941.
