U.S. Soldiers assigned to 2nd Cavalry Regiment participate in a tactical road march from Grafenwoehr, Germany to Hohenfels, Germany, as part of exercise Saber Junction 21, Sep. 3, 2021. Saber Junction 21 is a 7th Army Training Command-conducted, U.S. Army Europe-Africa-directed combat training rotation for the U.S. Army’s 2nd Cavalry Regiment at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center from August 26, 2021, to September 29, 2021. The exercise will take place at the Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels Training Areas. The exercise is designed to evaluate and assess the readiness of the regiment to execute unified land operations in a joint, combined environment and to promote interoperability with participating allied and partner nations.
