Kentucky National Guard service members look over MRAP (Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected) with Djiboutian soldiers as apart of a practical maintenance exercise on August 24, 2021 in Djibouti City, Djibouti. As Kentucky and Djiboutian forces met in blistering temperatures; the heat, language barrier, and stresses of training were factors that would occur. However, both partner nations were able to overcome those challenges and learn from each other.
