U.S. Air Force Special Tactics operators from the 24th Special Operations Wing greet their Colombian Air Force counterparts Aug. 29, 2021, before the start of events at Ángel de los Andes Cooperación VII in Rionegro, Colombia. Ángel de los Andes is a Colombian-led Search & Rescue (SAR) exercise, while Cooperación VII is a multinational Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Response (HA/DR) exercise. Special Tactics Airmen are Air Force Special Operations Command’s tactical air ground integration force leading global access, precision strike, personnel recovery and battlefield surgery operations.
