Royal Malaysia Air Force members learn about radar fundamentals from the 334th Training Readiness Squadron from Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. Aug. 19, 2021, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. The Western Air Defense Sector hosted twelve members of the RMAF as part of a subject matter exchange. Washington and Malaysia have been partner countries in The National Guard State Partnership Program since August 2017. Through SPP, the National Guard conducts military-to-military engagements in support of defense security goals but also leverages whole-of-society relationships and capabilities to facilitate broader interagency and corollary engagements spanning military, government, economic and social spheres.
