Service members from U.S. and partner nations commemorated the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks with a ceremony Sept. 11, 2021, at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
The keynote speaker for the ceremony was Lt. Gen. Ronald P. Clark, the U.S. Army Central commanding general, who reminded those in attendance the importance of military readiness. Clark also acknowledged first responders and law enforcement officers have played a part on and since Sept. 11, 2001, and thanked Kuwaiti dignitaries in attendance for their unwavering support and partnership.
