American and Canadian Sailors remember September 11, 2001 aboard HMCS HARRY DEWOLF. Sailor First Class Pierre Parent, Lieutenant Junior Grade Kyle Luchau, and Sailor First Class Sam Gagné perform burpees in honor of those who perished as a result of the attacks on September 11, 2001. 2,996 people lost their lives on this day 20 years ago and HARRY DEWOLF, as a ship’s company, will complete one burpee for each one of those individuals. HARRY DEWOLF departed Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, on August 3 for her maiden deployment. The crew is conducting a circumnavigation of North America through the Arctic in order to demonstrate the capabilities of the new vessel, promote interoperability, foster positive relationships with local communities, and establish a more resolute presence in the Northern Region.
