CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti (Sept. 8, 2021) U.S. Navy Command Master Chief Sean Baney, Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, speaks with Fleet Master Chief Derrick Walters, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa, during a Coalition Care Team meeting at the base chapel, Sept. 8, 2021, in Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. The Coalition Care Team is comprised of Behavioral Health, Chaplaincy, Victim Advocates, Sexual Assault Response Coordinator, Drug and Alcohol Program Adviser, Military and Family Life Counseling Program, Red Cross, and Fleet and Family Support. The Coalition Care Team, consisting of Camp Lemonnier and Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) service members and staff, meet once a month to share information, update new members, forecast needs and coordinate care. Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, serves as an expeditionary base for U.S. military forces providing support to ships, aircraft and personnel that ensure security throughout Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia. The base enables maritime and combat operations in the Horn of Africa while fostering positive U.S.-Africa relations. CJTF-HOA is a dynamic operational headquarters, effectively countering violent extremist organizations in East Africa. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Jacob Sippel)
