The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is working in partnership with the local, state, and federal response to Hurricane Ida. FEMA has assigned the USACE the Temporary Roofing mission known as Operation Blue Roof. The mission requires Quality Assurance Inspectors who are being trained at the Mobile District Readiness Support Center Mobile, Ala. The QAs role in the mission is to do assessments of roofs that were damaged by Hurricane Ida.
