The commandant and sergeant major of the Marine Corps visited III Marine Expeditionary Force and 31st MEU to observe capabilities and meet with senior leaders about future operations. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuous forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premiere crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
