Soldiers with 5th Quartermaster Theater Aerial Delivery hosted the Sling Load Inspector Certification Course (SLICC). This course is designed to certifies Soldiers to be able to successfully inspect, rig, and perform sling load operations. The event was performed at Langenbach Air Field, Germany, August 20, 2021, where SLICC students performed sling load operations via an UH-60 Black Hawk, supplied by the 12th Combat Aviation. This training is important because it allows 16th Sustainment Brigade to maintain this sling load capability while and expanding sustainment operations as well to support our European allies.
