48th Munitions Squadron conventional maintenance Airmen work on preparing components for a laser guided bomb build in support of a proof of concept exercise at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, Sept. 8, 2021. During the integrated munitions production exercise, the 48th MUNS received the shipment, offloaded all components of the munitions and produced 12 inert GBU-12s that were ready to be delivered to the aircraft for employment within hours of the shipment arrival.
