210908-N-KI739-1005 SAN CLEMENTE ISLAND, Calif. (Aug. 31, 2021) Seabees assigned to U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3 observe sheet pile being driven into the ocean floor to repair a quay wall at the Del Mar Boat Basin on board Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. The Seabees began this portion of the multi-phase project exercising construction and support of Expeditionary Advanced Base and Advanced Naval Base Operations as part of Exercise TURNING POINT while its completion will reinforce and stabilize this piece of infrastructure and allow for an additional mooring location for port operations.
