The Sivad Johnson, a Detroit Fire Department fireboat named for a firefighter who tragically perished while trying to rescue three girls struggling in the Detroit River last year, honors Johnson after his family was presented his Silver Lifesaving Medal during a ceremony at Sector Detroit Sept. 8, 2021.
