U.S. Air Force Capt. Janaye Greene, 31st Healthcare Operations Squadron clinical nurse, prepares a measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Sept. 17, 2021. Ramstein began mass vaccinations of approximately 9,000 evacuees who are awaiting transportation to their next destination. This vaccination effort out of an abundance of caution and at the request of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to ensure the health and safety of the evacuees and local communities.
