    Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)

Marines with Combat Marksmanship Coaches Reserve (CMCR) conduct the new Annual Rifle Qualification (ARQ) at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, Sept. 21, 2021. The CMCR students are the first to qualify as Combat Marksmanship Coaches under the new ARQ that will soon be implemented across the Marine Corps. The new ARQ seeks to increase lethality across the force through challenging combat shooting scenarios. Marine Forces Reserve Marines with CMCR will be an integral part of transitioning the Marine Corps Total Force to the ARQ as the Marine Corps continues to adapt training to prepare Marines for future operational requirements.
