ARABIAN SEA (September 16, 2021) Sailors drag chocks and chains to an MV-22B Osprey attached to Marine Medium Tilt-Rotor Squadron (VMM) 165 (Reinforced), 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), to secure it to the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), Sept 16. Pearl Harbor and the 11th MEU are deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet are of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
