Drew Pittman, prospective commanding officer of the Los Angeles-class submarine USS Montpelier (SSN 765), arrives as part of the official party during a change-of-command ceremony onboard Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Conn., Sept. 23. Montpelier and crew, operating under Submarine Squadron (SUBRON) FOUR, recently returned to homeport from a scheduled four-month deployment in support of the Navy's maritime strategy of supporting national security interests and maritime security operations.
