New Orleans Emergency Field Office (EFO) commander Maj. ChaTom "CT" Warren and Lincoln Gayagas, a US Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District employee serving as a national local government liaison, met with the President of St. James Parish, Federal Emergency Management Agency and emergency management officials Sept.24, 2021 at their emergency control center to give an update on blue roof installations in the parish. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is working in partnership with the local, state, and federal response to Hurricane Ida. FEMA has assigned the USACE the Temporary Roofing mission known as Operation Blue Roof.
