210927-N-RF825-1074 SAN BERNARDINO STRAIT (Sept. 27, 2021) From left, Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67), the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Chafee (DDG 90), and Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Stockdale (DDG 106) conducts an archipelagic sea lane passage through the San Bernardino Strait, crossing from the South China Sea into the Philippine Sea while an MH-60R Sea Hawk, attached to the “Saberhawks” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 77, flies above.
