U.S. Army 1st Lt. Lauren Martinez, a tank platoon leader with Alpha Company “Orphans,” 2nd Battalion, 34th Armored Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, recently became the president of the 2-34’s Female Mentorship Program while deployed to Drawsko Pomorskie Training Area, Poland, Sept. 22, 2021. “I want females from all MOSs and backgrounds to come together as well as grow with one another,” Martinez said. “We will hold each other accountable, set goals and see how we have grown by the end of this rotation.” (U.S. Army photo illustration by Staff Sgt.
