The Combat Visual Information Center’s (CVIC) photo studio’s official purpose is to capture official photographs of Status of Forces Agreement personnel stationed across Okinawa at the CVIC, Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan Sept. 20, 2021. Naoshi Higa, a photo laboratory technician with the Marine Corps Installations Pacific CVIC, has worked for the CVIC, formerly Marine Corps Bases - Japan combat camera, for 36 years assisting service members stationed on Okinawa in updating and capturing official photos to be used for passports, command boards, promotion boards, tattoo documentation, and other military requirements.
