U.S. Army Spc. Shaun Lewis, assigned to the United States Army Europe and Africa, plots points on a map during a land navigation exercise while competing in the Department of the Army's Best Warrior Competition at Fort Knox, Kentucky, Oct. 3, 2021. The Best Warrior Competition challenges the best from the U.S. Army to compete annually for the title of Best Warrior. Soldiers representing seven geographic commands and 22 functional commands, spend a week competing in a variety of challenges including; firing weapons, land navigation, the Army Combat Fitness Test, and various mystery events.
