A U.S. Air Force AC-130W Stinger II aircraft receives fuel from a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft, assigned to the 91st Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel over the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, Aug. 12, 2021. The AC-130W Stinger II is capable of conducting continuous strike operations, including close air support for troops in contact, convoy escort and point air defense.
