WILMINGTON, N.C. – Mrs. Vicki Kramer, the widow of Sgt. 1st Class Edward C. Kramer, the namesake of the new NC Army National Guard Readiness Center in Wilmington NC, speaks to friends, family and fellow Soldiers of Sgt. 1st Class Kramer at the dedication of the new 57,000 square foot headquarters building for the 1st Battalion, 120th Infantry Regiment, 30th Armor Brigade Combat Team on October 2, 2021. The ceremony officially opened the new facility and will bear the name of Sgt. 1st Class Kramer who was killed in action by an improvised explosive device on June 29th, 2009 in Iraq.
