WHIDBEY ISLAND, Wash. -- Rear Adm. Pete Garvin, commander, Naval Education and Training Command, shows off his painting skills on the Advanced Aircraft Corrosion Lab paint trainer as Aviation Structural Mechanic First Class Matthew Murdock observes at the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training (CNATT) Unit Whidbey Island. Use of technology such as this paint simulator in CNATT schoolhouses allows Sailors and Marines to get many realistic "reps" and "sets" of on-the-job tasks they will be doing out in the fleet.
