PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 28, 2021) - A Guam Army National Guard UH-72 Lakota
helicopter from 1-224th Aviation Regiment Delta Company hovers over a U.S.
Navy Mark VI patrol boat from Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron (MSRON)
4 Bravo Company during a joint exercise off the coast of Guam, Sept. 28. The
exercise, intended to familiarize the two units with casualty evacuation and
interoperability, was the first of its kind for both the Guam Army National
Guard and MSRON 4.
"They are super professional... and there was one hundred percent cooperation
all around," said 1st Lt. Hayden Hayner, a pilot of the Lakota. "They were
excited to work with us, we were excited to work with them, and now that we've
completed the training, we look forward to working with them more often."
