U.S., Japanese train during capabilities display

U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to Task Force Iron Gray, Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA), welcomed Japanese service members to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, for a capabilities and static weapons display at the camp, Sept. 12, 2021. Task Force Iron Gray Soldiers helped Japanese service members become familiar with the various weapon systems, medical capabilities, and mountain warfare skills used by the light infantry unit. CJTF-HOA, operating from Camp Lemonnier, regularly trains with and works alongside allied and partner nations, coalition forces and interagency/intergovernmental organizations to achieve a unified effort in East Africa.
