CARIBBEAN SEA - (Oct. 16, 2021) – Fire Controlman 2nd Class Brooke Christman fires a .50-caliber machine gun at a “killer tomato” training target aboard the Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Billings (LCS 15) during the live-fire phase of a bilateral maritime exercise with the Jamaica Defence Force, Oct. 16, 2021. Billings is deployed to the U.S. 4th Fleet area of operations to support Joint Interagency Task Force South’s mission, which includes counter-illicit drug trafficking missions in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific.
