Somervell, Logistics Support Vessel 3, during Operation Tropic Voyage, at Waipio Point, Hawaii Oct. 17, 2021. Operation Tropic Voyage, was the first time LSV 3 included combat soldiers, assigned to the 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, on its cargo deck instead of just the usual vehicles and equipment the vessel usually transports.
