ARTP is an exercise held to strengthen the defense of Japan and the U.S.-Japan Alliance as the cornerstone of peace and security in the Indo-Pacific region. This iteration of ARTP focused on operating as a small, distributed force, capable of delivering long range precision fires with lethal effects from multiple survivable locations.
