Members from the 191st Regional Support Group out of the Puerto Rico National Guard, currently stationed at Forward Operating Site Powidz, and faculty members from Primary School Adama Borysa (Adam Borys) in Witkowo, Poland, share lunch at the school grounds after their Cultural Day event on Oct. 21. During the event, Soldiers talked with the children about customs and courtesies from Mexico and Puerto Rico as part of a local school program in order to create awareness about other cultures from different corners of the world. These types of interactions help the local community have a better understanding of the U.S. military's presence in Poland, and strengthens the bond between the two nations.
