U.S. Marines with Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic, Marine Forces Command, Marine Forces Northern Command and Marine Corps Security Force Regiment, receive an award for achieving the highest scores during the High-Intensity Tactical Training (HITT) Warrior Challenge competition at Camp Elmore, Norfolk, Virginia, Oct. 22, 2021. Marines competed in four events which included a simulated supply run where participants sprint with equipment in patterned course, a power challenge that includes a combination of strength exercises, an endurance challenge where Marines conduct a series of exercises and then are mentally tested and a live fire stress shoot which required Marines to shoot service weapons after participating in an obstacle course and grappling a Marine Corps Martial Arts Program instructor. Marine Corps Community Services Camp Elmore hosts the HITT Warrior Challenge annually for participants to test their skills and strength through a series of events.
