Air Force Col. Mark A. Goodwill, Pennsylvania National Guard assistant adjutant general, was promoted to the rank of brigadier general during a small ceremony held at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pa., Oct. 23, 2021. Army Maj. Gen. Mark Schindler, Pennsylvania adjutant general, attended the ceremony presided over by Air Force Brig. Gen. Michael Regan, Pennsylvania Air National Guard (PAANG) commander. Brig. Gen. Goodwill is a native of Beaver County, Pa., and has served in uniform for more than 34 years. He is a former commander of the PAANG’s 171st Air Refueling Wing based in Coraopolis.
