SANTA RITA, Guam (Oct. 19, 2021) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1 provide crane support to lift one of Maritime Prepositioning Ships Squadron (MPSRON) 3's rigid-hull inflatable boat on the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Sequoia (WLB-215). Seabees can provide fleet support using civil engineer support equipment to rearm, resupply and revive the fleet. NMCB 1 is forward-deployed to execute construction, humanitarian assistance, theater security cooperation, and support Fleet maneuver in the U.S. 7th Fleet areas of operation.
