211007-N-RP125-1021 BAUCAU, Timor-Leste (Oct. 21, 2021) Evangelino Correia Corte-Real (left) and Nicolau Sigueira, with the Timor-Leste Defence Force, fill concrete masonry unit blocks for the schoolhouse in Timor-Leste. The U.S. Navy Seabees with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5 are working with the Timor-Leste Defence Force to build a four-room schoolhouse. NMCB-5 is deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations, supporting a free and open Indo-Pacific, strengthening their alliances and partnerships, and providing general engineering and civil support to joint operational forces.
