NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Oct 19, 2021) - Culinary Specialist Seaman Apprentice Elizabeth Thorson, a grillmaster assigned to the supply department aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73), grabs vegetables to sauté in the forward mess decks on the ship . George Washington is undergoing refueling and complex overhaul (RCOH) at Newport News Shipbuilding.
